CRPP here. An aspiring connoisseur of a variety of alcoholic beverages. I drink not to get drunk but to have a good time and share good moments with friends. In order to guide you through some of your drinking escapades, I will be doing reviews on some of the drinks I try. Keep reading to check out my first review on Bud Light Lime Mojito.

If you spent your time this past month watching the NBA Playoffs like me, I’m sure you’ve seen that Bud Light Lime Mojito commercial over and over again (Here’s a link if it isn’t already ingrained in your brain).

Call it persuasive advertising, I for one wanted to try it after watching the commercial countless times. Let me tell you, if you were expecting a beer from the King of Beers, the Bud Light Lime Mojito will disappoint. It is not a beer and if anything shares closer resemblance to a cooler. It tastes like a typical Bud Light Lime with that distinct lime flavour that actually masks majority of the mojito flavour. It only really kicks in with the after taste and after 2-3 of them.

Out of 5, CRPP rates this beer as a 0 because it simply doesn’t taste like beer. But if you’re looking for beer substitute or for those who don’t drink beer, I’d give it a 3.5.

“Remember you drink because it’s good, because it feels better then unbuttoning your collar, because you deserve it. We drink because it’s what men do.”
